I went there a couple years ago for a root canal. It was the most painless root canal I have ever had and it has given me absolutely no trouble since you crowned ir.
I needed more work and when I went back without an appointment but they were busy so I went across the street to another dentist. I think that was a big mistake. I will go back to Dr. Magana in the future

Might be a good Dr? All I got was a bait and switch. I asked my spouse who grew up in Mexico to call around to get a price on what I needed done because most people seem to save money getting their dental work done in Mexico. This place gave us a price, the Dr even assured her this was something very common that he could manage. So we drove down 3 hours with our child to the office in hopes I could get what we were told done. Instead my quote tripled! To make matters worse they have the nerve to charge me $80 for the consultation when I declined the work. They wanted to charge me $400 just for a deep cleaning. Something I could have had done for $170 less less than 2 miles from my house. Don't even bother, highly overrated.

Terrible place, did 2 root canals, one of the root canals was done incorrectly, had to come back and sit through the whole procedure again. When they did the impressions for the crown they left the paste in too long and almost could not get the impression loose from my teeth. It took two people pulling to finally get the impression plate removed, it felt like my upper teeth were being pulled, hurt really bad. When they put the crowns in they used one crown to cover 2 teeth, intsead of one crown for each tooth. To make matters worse one of my other crowns from previous work came loose and fell out due to the trama of leaving the impression paste in too long. When i returned and asked them to please put
My crown back on they refused unless i paid them more money. It was their shoddy work that caused the crown to fall out in the first place. When i said why should i pay for something that was your doing, one of the Dr.s started yelling at me saying we don't work for free. Great customer service also. I have never written a negative review about anything and hesitated to write this one but finally decided people should be warned about this place. Their work is terrible and i highly recommend you stay away from there. There are. Many good and honest dentists in algadones.......

Both my husband and I needed some extensive dental work. Dr. Magana and his staff were better than ANY OTHER dental facility we've even been to in the States. It was clean and sterilized in the treatment rooms. They are HONEST and don't push you into costly dental work. They explained everything clearly, in English, what your choices were. We both had root canals and crowns that were completed in 2 visits. The root canal was a breeze. Just park in at the far end of the Quechen Casino in border parking which costs $6, then walk down the ramp into Mexico. Dr. Magana's office is maybe 50 yards straight ahead. Easy access. Re-entry to the USA is easy with a Passport. Check online to see if a Birth Certificate is okay to use. If you drink coffee....Dr. Magana makes it fresh!

I'll admit I was at first a little nervous about getting dental work done across the border where I don't speak the language. Even going to the dentist at home is scary enough!

The lobby is so fancy looking that I was again a bit intimidated. But don't be deterred; I was immediately put at ease by the staff. I saw Dra. Estrella, and she was very professional, fluent in Spanish and English, and very calming & reassuring. Also very patient and gentle, almost motherly, as she worked quickly and carefully, while keeping me in the loop of what she was doing and letting me make my own decisions about the options she saw to work with. The whole clinic is very clean and professional, and so are the staff.

I ended up paying 1/3 of what I would have in the US, and they even had the temporary replacement tooth modeled and ready the same afternoon! A year later I am still very happy with the work. Would absolutely go back.

Lost a large filling and Magana Dental was able to get me in the same day. Facilities were clean and very efficient in their work. Language barrier was not an issue, everything was explained to me in English . Tooth was fixed (needed an additional trip for the permanent inlay to replace the temporary filling) and was not painful at all. Highly recommend and will be going back for additional work as needed!

Dr. Magana's office and services are first rate! I live on both sides of the country and I always wait to have check ups when I'm out west. The cleanliness and professionalism of Dr. Magana's office is what first caught my attention when visiting for the first time. I was referred by a local friend. After a few appointments I realized there were other reasons to have Dr. Magana permanently work on my teeth. The friendliness of the doc and his staff will keep me coming back for a long time to come.

This is my second time going the Dr. Magana dental offices for emergency services. I make the drive from Phoenix just to go to them. I appreciate their services and their staff. They always take such good care of me and are really professional and let you know everything that’s going on every step of the way.
