superb office and staff. Saw a Youtube video about Dr. Chao who is the inventor of the Pinhole Surgical Technique that treats receding gums. Went in for a consultation and decided to have the procedure done. Very happy with the results.

I searched for the BEST dentist in this world who could help me with my receding gum problem and I found Dr Chao and his miraculous pinhole technique ! He saved my gum and from losing my teeth! He deserves 5 star +++++++ ! I have always received the best care I have ever experienced at each visit, with great attention to details, and his caring and skilled staff always makes you feel calm and relax. Although I moved to Arizona recently I drive all the way to Alhambra for my regular teeth cleanings . I trust him 100% for all my dental needs..he is the BEST dentist I ever had in my life.

My mother has had issues with her teeth for decades, and have hopped from dentist to dentists for ages, always complaining about being nickeled and dimed until she started coming here. GROSS CAME BACK HERE BECAUSE OTHER DENTIST DIDNT WANT TO CONTINUE ON MY TEMPORARY ROOT CANAL AND THEY STILL HAVE THE WATER SUCTION PROCESS WORKING THE SAME WAY WHICH IS DIRTY WITH BLOOD ALL OVER THE HOSE AND TOOLS❌(Over 2 years been a patient at this location and all I can say is this place is so dirty, unsanitary tools and rooms, the water suction hose that is place in our mouth is dirty I see blood on the tools then the same tool is place at other patients then the plastic placed at our mouth when doing the cleaning to avoid water going in our trout is a dirty method that spills blood all over the tool and floor ewww nasty. Another note all worker are always new and unprofessionals and doctor peter and benson seem to not care and they keep over charging for unnecessary procedure, make sure and call the insurances and get a second opinion on the procedures. Alot of times they do unnecessary procedures to charge and damage your own teeth on purpose so before and after coming here go get a second opinion so you can see how trustfully they are or not.

I had the pinhole surgery done and I am very pleased with the results.
The care and detail Dr. Chao and his staff provided was excellent. Dr. Chao took the time to made sure that I prepared my gums for the surgery and made certain the recovery was progressing as expected.
I had the graft surgery done before so I had something to compare it to. The recovery was much shorter and results are fantastic!
From this experience I feel Dr. Chao has given me the knowledge how to take care of my teeth and gums going forward as well.
He is the pinhole gum surgery expert and takes pride in refining his craft.

From my most recent experience (2 days ago) back to many years ago with my first appointment with Dr. Chao, both he and his staff have always made me feel like I am the most important patient there. If his staff sees me nervous they will talk with me and try to get my mind off of whatever procedure is coming. If Dr. Chao sees me nervous he is very calming and explains everything he is going to do so there are no surprises. He does everything possible to make every procedure as painless as possible! Dr. Chao has a special technique for giving shots which are virtually painless (you feel a tiny poke, that's it!), which makes a BIG impact on not being as afraid as I was growing up with dental procedures.
I wish I had him as a dentist when I was growing up. My teeth and health have improved since I've been going to him for all my dental care. Thank you Dr. Chao and staff!

Dr. Chao is a great dentist! When a lingering dental issue couldn't be resolved with my regular dentist, my girlfriend recommended Dr. Chao. Fortunately, he is very knowledgeable and knew what needed to be done to take care of my dental issue. The office is equipped with the latest technological equipment, which he used to help make the correct diagnoses. His staff is very friendly and professional. I had the pinhole surgery for my receding gums, very pleased with the results. Especially after talking to my brother who had the "old fashion" version surgery which sounded like a nightmare. I continued to see Dr Chao for regular checkups and cleanings, despite his office being quite some drive from my place. He and his staff are great. Maybe if you're looking for a basic economy style dentist he is not ideal. I'm not saying he is HIGH priced; he worked with me on pricing a few times in the past; and he really does not try to oversell procedures like some other dentists. But overall he's great
